The owner, Terri Applegate, has been an antique dealer for over 25 years. She has been a Certified Appraiser for over 10 years and is a Member of the Certified Appraiser Guild of America.

Terri's Story:

My husband and I were so poor when we got married that we decided to try auctions as a way to furnish our home. After awhile we could tell who were the dealers, so when we just out bid them we figured we were getting a piece of history at wholesale prices.

We enjoyed it so much that I started a business doing what I love! It progressed so far that eventually I felt I needed to get an appraisers certificate to feel confident in what we were selling. That knowledge and experience has led us into the personal property appraisal business that we have today.

Most of my work today is for lawyers, insurance companies and banks doing appraisals for divorce, replacements, and estates. What I enjoy most is sharing my knowledge and expertise with the average person so they will know how to treat their treasured possessions.
